When something comes up in our health do you ever wonder “Where did this come from?? This came out of nowhere…” Well, that could be furthest from the truth.
Now I have many ways I can take this conversation such as how our mindset and beliefs could and do play a part but… I'll take it to the beginning… before you were even born.
Last week on my IG stories (are you following along over there? We get into hot topics and I answer your burning questions over there) I mentioned I would be speaking about your pecking order and birth spacing.
But you know you ladies get first dibs here…
I'm pulling out the OG topics from my private 1:1 days (which was not to long ago).
One of the first questions I would ask in consults was “where are you in your mothers pecking order?”
Meaning are the your mother's 1st, 2nd, 3rd… child?
Why does that matter?
Well… because mothers download the mineral profile to each child.
If mom was undernourished and depleted even before she was pregnant she would have a very scarce mineral profile to download to baby.
The Goldielocks effect
In the pecking order the 1st child got the largest mineral download, 2nd got the medium size mineral download and the 3rd got the smallest mineral download. If there are more children then the downloads get smaller.
Now of course there are caveates to all things.
If mom was able to space the children out by minimum 2 years and took those 2 years to replenish all things would be A - OK.
What does that mean for you?!!
That means that if you may be experiencing any type of ailment it could be stemming from your mothers download of minerals to you during here preganacy.
Usually the youngest has been shown to have more ailments then the oldest but the oldest can get a download of the most toxins. YIKE!!!
But fear not… I'm here to offer some suggestions.
And thank your mother for all the other things she's given and downloaded to you. Trust me, there is so many good things;)

KNOW YOUR STATUS
As I teach the women in Flourish by Design, step one is to know thyself…
What does that mean? It means to know where you stand in your health status.
How's your sleep?
How many hours do you sleep?
Where are you in your cycle?
Does your temperature run hot or cold?
How much sunlight are you getting daily?
How are your stress levels?
What part of the day stresses you the most?
Knowing the answers to these questions can give you good insight to where you stand in your health.
It's really that simple. The ladies I've helped saw these meterics as trivial but boy oh boy did they learn why they were important. Let's just say the cells are talkin'.

HOW I KEEP TRACK
I try to make my life as easy as possible.
One of the ways I do that is by not trying to remember everything.
So I use apps to help me keep track of all those things I mentioned above.
Well currently I'm using an Oura ring to track most of these metrics which I love and I use in airplane mode.
But here are some of my favorite apps for tracking:
⚡️MyFlo keeps track of your cycle and it shows you what part of your cycle you're on. This one I love for cycle syncing which is my jam and we talk about and explore in Flourish By Design.
⚡️MOODCHILD keeps track of the moon phases and your cycle. I like this one because when your period lines up with certain moon phases it can show if there may be parasitic activity in the body. (parasites are not only in third world countries)
⚡️dminder tracks your sunlight expose which has been an obession of mind lately. I might share at another time all the benefits beside vitamin D.
***But choose one and start tracking. You can learn alot about yourself.
